The human-in-the-loop dial

Supply Chain IQ's agents are capable of full autonomy. Governance decides how much to grant. Every gate below is driven by three inputs — value thresholds, a reversibility class, and regulatory or contractual sensitivity — and every change here changes how a comparable action behaves in the platform.

Governing principle
Agents are capable of full autonomy · governance decides how much to grant · every gated action produces an auditable trail.

Illustrative preview: if the platform were to trigger the following action right now, this is how it would behave under the current policy.

Candidate action

Loosening gates propagates within seconds. Any change is committed to the policy version and appears in the Governance audit trail.
Reversibility classes
  • Reversible — intra-DC rebalance, safety-stock retarget, supplier notification. Rollback possible within minutes, no downstream commitments.
  • Semi-reversible — plan write-back, PO issuance below threshold. Rollback possible but incurs cost or lead-time impact.
  • Irreversible — contract award, single-source switch. Binding commercial or contractual commitment; no rollback.
