The human-in-the-loop dial
Supply Chain IQ's agents are capable of full autonomy. Governance decides how much to grant. Every gate below is driven by three inputs — value thresholds, a reversibility class, and regulatory or contractual sensitivity — and every change here changes how a comparable action behaves in the platform.

Loosening gates propagates within seconds. Any change is committed to the policy version and appears in the Governance audit trail.
Reversibility classes
- Reversible — intra-DC rebalance, safety-stock retarget, supplier notification. Rollback possible within minutes, no downstream commitments.
- Semi-reversible — plan write-back, PO issuance below threshold. Rollback possible but incurs cost or lead-time impact.
- Irreversible — contract award, single-source switch. Binding commercial or contractual commitment; no rollback.
